Rammakkal medu is a beautiful village in Idukki known as the land of wind . Ramakkalmedu is one of the less explored tourist destination in Idukki district . Main attractions here are Kuravan and Kurathi statue and a watch tower near to the statue. The scenic beauty of Ramakkalmedu attracts people around the world. Ramakkalmedu stands tall in the Western Ghats around 3500 feet above sea level and is quite famous for trekking.
